HYT watches launched five new products at Baselworld earlier this year. What they didn’t reveal was the icy H1 iceberg.

With its fresh appearance and eye-catching style, H1 Iceberg happened to be on the market in the summer and soon became the brand’s new favorite. Following the footsteps of some other major brands (such as Audemars Piguet) this year, HYT provided H1 with a complete white and blue treatment, and I have to say that it looks great.
The H1 Iceberg watch uses the familiar 48.8mm case, this time made of titanium alloy, the surface is brushed, shot peened and satin-finished. It may be HYT’s most eye-catching watch so far. This shows a lot! As you can see from the photo, the dial is all white, with contrasting gray hour dials and gray minutes dials, gray indexes and numbers, and all with some very subtle blue highlights.
Although it may seem sad at first glance, I actually found that the white dial with gray and blue contrast does make the H1 Iceberg’s dial clearer, even clearer than other models. Of course, the real leaderboard is the gorgeous blue of the liquid time display, a mile away on a white background, and everyone in the room is staring at your wrist.
The back of the watch is very similar, and the complex manual winding movement is also finished in white. The bridge of the movement has been manually chamfered and decorated with Geneva ripples, and the golden touch is just right to form a sharp contrast, making things interesting.
The H1 Iceberg is paired with a white rubber strap. Even wearing a shirt and jacket, the look and feel on the wrist is great. If you want to add a bit of color, it can also be paired with a blue alligator strap, although I personally prefer the fresh summer feel of the all-white appearance.
