Girard Perregaux X Wempe Laureato Infinity Edition

Girard-Perregaux fake has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Wempe in Germany. To commemorate this moment, the Swiss luxury watch brand launched Laureato Infinity Edition, which uses polished and satin-finished 38mm and 42mm steel cases. These two watches will be sold exclusively through Wempe in Germany and flagship stores in New York and London for a limited time.

Girard-Perregaux launched the sporty and elegant Laureato with an octagonal bezel and an integrated stainless steel bracelet. Since then, the design of this watch has been known for its interplay of straight lines and curves, which combine polished and satin-brushed surfaces. Even a sports watch, its elegant features make it suitable for formal wear.

Both sizes of Laureato Infinity Edition are equipped with hand-made onyx dials, and are decorated with rose gold hour markers, silver baton-shaped hour and minute hands, and a date window at 3 o’clock. The Laureato 38mm bezel is set with 56 brilliant-cut diamonds, totaling approximately 0.90 carats.

Both versions of the watch have an internal automatic movement and are enhanced with traditional surface treatment and rose gold oscillating weight. In line with the tradition of Laureato.

According to Pruniaux, this collaboration “highlights the importance we place on our partnership and marks a positive milestone… Both of our companies have a long history and share common values, which explains why we chose this This Inifinity model serves as a metaphor for the partnership we hope to last for a long time.”

Universe Unlimited Edition

This is the latest model released in 2019. Limited to eight pieces, it showcases Girard-Perregaux‘s advanced watchmaking skills, from mechanical expertise to superb manual finishing.

This timepiece has three major watchmaking complexities: a tourbillon cage, fixed by Girard-Perregaux’s iconic Neo Bridge, which is made of grade 5 titanium and finished in black PVD processing; a globe at 3 o’clock, indicating day or night; and a celestial globe at 9 o’clock, showing the zodiac signs. Both globes are made of polished y agate and hand-decorated in rose gold using micro painting techniques. You can customize the hand-painted according to requirements.

The globe at 3 o’clock rotates 360° every 24 hours, and the globe at 9 o’clock rotates 360° every 23 hours and 56 minutes.

The winding and setting system is located on the back of the pocket luxury watch, which is based on the style of the pocket watch. The mosaic system has three carved patterns, each of which is filled with luminous ceramics to indicate the purpose of each complication.

The black onyx used on the dial is shaped and polished by hand until it has a mirror-like appearance. It takes at least 15 different operations to create a fine dial and a three-dimensional globe.

The internal movement GP09320-1440 has high-end finishing. The main board is decorated with black PVD, with round texture, sandblasting and chamfering. The movement is housed in a 47 mm titanium case.

1945 Unlimited Edition
The original Girard-Perregaux (1945) captured the luxurious geometric style of the Art Deco movement. The new Vintage 1945 Infinity Edition with a polished steel rectangular case, dauphine hour and minute hands and rose gold hands on the black onyx dial continue this style. There are decorative edges above and below the crown, and the crown and bracelet are integrated with the case. The watch is powered by the GP03300-1405 self-winding movement, and is equipped with a rose gold oscillating weight and a 46-hour power reserve. The movement is also equipped with a luxury watch brand’s patented “big date” display at 12 o’clock, while the small seconds and moon phase dial are at 6 o’clock. It is limited to 88 pieces and will be sold worldwide in September.

1966, unlimited edition, men and women
For this watch, the black y agate dial is housed in a classic slender round polished steel case with leaf-shaped hands and rose gold hands. The GP03300-1402 self-winding movement is equipped with a 40mm men’s version with a rose gold oscillating weight and a 46-hour power reserve. The watch comes with a leather belt.

The female model has a 30 mm polished steel case with 60 diamonds on the bezel, totaling approximately 0.55 carats. It is powered by an automatic movement with a caliber of GP03200-1403, and is equipped with a rose gold oscillating weight and a 42-hour power reserve. The fashion watch comes with a shiny black calfskin strap.
