Huge talent pool
The ART Grand Prix is a French racing team that participates in Formula One racing in Europe. It is a joint project that Frédéric Vasseur and Nicolas Todt, the principals of ASM Formule 3, participated in 2005.
It was in 1996 that Frédéric Vasseur created his first racing-stable ASM. The aim is to expand his championship Formula 3 team into the newly created GP2 series to support the European Grand Prix.
The ART Grand Prix team was established in the winter of 2004/2005, based on the solid foundation of the ASM F3 team. The two structures are located under the same roof and work together by the same person.
After the strong performance and records of French Formula 3 and European Formula 3, the French Yonne-based team decided to continue to rise in the international racing world by creating a structure dedicated to the GP2 championship. As the European F1 Grand Prix season approaches , The team replaced the F3000 in 2005.
“The ART Grand Prix has allowed young talents at all levels of the company to emerge: mechanics, engineers, and of course drivers. They are an important part of this iceberg, some of whom have subsequently left their mark in the history of F1. “
The ART Grand Prix plays an important role in driver training and promotion of young drivers. In fact, the team works with several outstanding racers who are now the pinnacle of motorsport: Sebastian Vettel (F1), Lewis Hamilton (F1), Nico Rosberg (F1) ), Nico Helkenberg (F1), Valtteri Bottas (F1), Charles Leclerc (F1), Sergey Sirotkin (F1), Paul Di Resta (F1), Alexandre Prémat (V8 supercar) , Jamie Green (DTM)…
Richard Mille (fake Richard Mille) has long joined the board of directors and has been supporting Art GP since 2009.
