Using a street map of the Tokyo area on its dial, Grand Seiko presents a limited edition that pays homage to its birthplace, Ginza.

The Grand Seiko Heritage Collection SBGH297 is limited to 260 pieces and is powered by the brand’s 9S85 5Hz self-winding movement that runs +5/-3 seconds per day.

The light blue hue is said to be reminiscent of the color of the afternoon sky above the pedestrian zone known for luxury shopping, where the Seiko brand was founded in 1881.

Seiko released its own Ginza tribute watches last year, including a pair of Alpinist best quality replica watches whose dials reflect the area’s unique cobblestone streets.
