The TAG Heuer Carrera Sport chronograph is powered by the internal movement Heuer o2. The 168-component movement is entirely manufactured by the Swiss brand Chevenez.

The movement has a sufficient power reserve of 80 hours. This means you can spend a full weekend in the game without worrying about entanglement (moving or entanglement).

Guy Bove correctly interchanged this watch with the Carrera Heuer 02T on the 45mm wrist. Although the diameter is almost the same, there are still significant differences in how the two watches are worn. Carrera Sport is still a large watch (case depth of 15.27mm), but the changes made to the case and the facets used to destroy the bezel and crystal contours did help to minimize this visually. Comparing this case depth with other Carreras, you will find that this is not only a look, it is indeed thinner than the current 41mm Carrera Calibre 16 CMB2110 (16.23mm).

The size issue is always the issue when discussing modern Carreras-those who like classic designs think that anything larger than 41mm is “too big”, but it is undeniable that buyers have flocked to the modern 43/45mm skeleton Carreras. In the end it boils down to personal preference, but considering the thinner case and design changes, the new watch has fewer compromises to emphasize horizontal rather than vertical.

In the end, we designed a new chronograph button that perfectly combines brushed and polished surfaces with an evolution of colored “rings”, which has been a feature of the Carrera series for more than ten years.
