Many things make MB&F stand out-but one of the most unique elements of mavrick’s brand appeal is their ability to transfer aesthetics, which seems like a dime. From bio-organic forms to mid-century science fiction, MB&F managed to integrate seemingly completely different nostalgic pop culture metaphors into its extremely strict clocks, while getting rid of the trap of cartoonish imitation.

However, one trend is more obvious than most of their various series, which is retroism. The idea originated from literature and creative art, and it tells the concept of the future realized using outdated technology. This style has both an imaginative past and a skeptical attitude towards the future of populism.

Since the beginning, MB&F has been playing a role in the field of backwardism, whether it is a clock or a traditional machine. However, one of their most eye-catching expressions is the HM4, which is what MB&F usually photographs on pilot watches, and it flew for the first time 10 years ago.

This watch is also called Thunderbolt. It goes against the traditional case description and relies on the rigid language of the aviation world. Two turbo-like engines are installed on the central chassis, and each engine has a display: power reserve on the left, time on the right. The entire component of this watch that won the 2010 GPHG award looks like a perfect interpretation of the golden age of aviation. This is the strong support of MB&F in Razzle Dazzle and Double Trouble versions in 2011 and HM4 in 2020 . Kittyhawk tablets are unique.
